Abstract

Taking into account the multidisciplinary in which environmental issues must be worked in the school environment, this work aims to evaluate how the teaching staff of the municipal school Darcy Ribeiro, located in the urban area of ​​the municipality of Tucuruí-PA, works on this theme in their classes. The school in question was chosen because of its location and seniority in the municipality. After analyzing the results, it was possible to observe the appreciation for teaching and the interest in continuing to teach in basic education, but structural problems and investments by the public authorities make him discourage the interest in proposing projects focused on environmental issues at school. It was also observed that the teaching staff has many years of experience, most of them more than 20 years, but all are willing and willing to do their best in teaching. In relation to projects focused on environmental issues, it was observed that teachers need to include each other so that these works focused on the environmental theme are not discontinued, but rather worked effectively in class.
