As a reflection of changes in society's thinking regarding the preservation of the environment, organizations, both public and private, have been compelled to promote changes in their structures to adhere to sustainable management. The adoption of socioenvironmental management in public organizations, in addition to reducing the environmental impacts of their actions, projects and programs, can also contribute in an exemplary manner, encouraging society to adopt sustainable practices and actions environmentally correct. In this context, the present work aims to identify the benefits resulting from the process of implementing the socio-environmental management program at the Santa Catarina Court of Justice (SCCJ). The information for this work was obtained through bibliographic and documentary research. Initially, the SCCJ was characterized and subsequently the data of indicators present in the documents such as reports and annual logistics plans were evaluated. The indicators chose for the analysis were: the amount of recycled waste collected annually, the distribution of bins for the collection of recyclable waste, the distribution of garbage bags and the consumption of paper in the different units of SCCJ. A continuous evolution of the implemented environmental management program was observed between the years of 2013 to 2019. This evolution is evident with the good results listed in the reports presented by the SCCJ's Secretariat for Social and Environmental Management, such as the reduction of paper consumption, and the increase of the amount of recycled waste collected associated with an increase in the amount of garbage bags and collectors distributed.
